Revlon Colorist®

How to get salon quality color that resists fading with a weekly 2-minute Colorglaze treatment.


Your Revlon Colorist® haircolor system makes it easy to achieve and maintain beautiful, salon quality color at home.

We've provided an overview of the steps below; however, before coloring be sure to read all instructions included with your coloring kit, including the allergy and color preview test.

Mix Developer and Colorant

Squeeze contents of Colorant tube into developer bottle. Replace cap and shake to mix

Apply to your hair

If this is your first time coloring:

Gently work mixture through your hair, saturating hair completely through to the tip

Leave on for 25 minutes

For resistant gray hair, leave on for an extra 5 minutes (30 minutes total)

If you have colored your hair before:

Apply mixture to root area only, leave on for 20 minutes

For resistant gray hair, leave on for an extra 5 minutes (25 minutes total)

Then comb or gently work remaining mixture through rest of hair to saturate hair completely

Leave on for 5 more minutes

Rinse thoroughly

Dispense conditioning Colorglaze

Dispense a quarter-sized amount of conditioning Colorglaze into the palm of your hand and apply to your hair

Work Colorglaze into hair and distribute evenly from root to tip

Wash hands thoroughly

Time and Rinse

Leave Colorglaze on hair for 2 minutes to perfect your new color. Revlon Colorist® Conditioning Colorglaze adds a protective gloss and a hint of color tone matched exactly to your base shade

Rinse thoroughly and style as usual

Tip

Save the remaining Colorglaze. You have enough for up to 6 weekly treatments. Keep Colorglaze tube in shower or tub with your regular haircare products.
